Red oxide silicone rubber sheeting (SI) is a robust elastomer made from silicon, carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, featuring the distinctive red oxide colour for applications requiring clear visual identification. It offers excellent flexibility across a wide temperature range and demonstrates strong resistance to ozone, UV light, and weathering. Similar to other silicone variants, it provides high electrical insulation and release properties but is not suitable for acids, ketones, or petrochemicals, and has limited abrasion resistance.
Commonly used where colour coding is necessary in industrial, food, and pharmaceutical environments, this material supports high-temperature sealing and insulation needs.
